Precision Stainless Steel is currently looking for TIG Welder, Fabricator, Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician & Installer in the Phoenix, AZ area. At PSS our installers will be required to perform and supervise skilled work in the delivery and installation of commercial kitchen equipment. This work includes loading and unloading of trucks, removing equipment from crating, and setting in place, Installations of custom stainless-steel equipment and fixtures, metal trim fabrication and other Commercial Kitchen equipment duties while working on large scale construction sites.

Previous Experience in Commercial Kitchen Installations, Tig Welding and Fabrication. Knowledge of commercial food service (kitchen) equipment repairs, maintenance, and Installation techniques.

-Knowledge of metal working tools, such as grinders, polishers, and welders
-Applicant must have their own basic tools
-Manage daily install schedule
-Read and understand blueprints, specifications, and manufacturer’s manuals
-Assumes responsibility for care and operations of tools and equipment
-Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
-Experience with construction and/or facility
-Ability to lift 75 lbs.
-Operate necessary equipment/tools to perform the repairs and ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
-Accept responsibility and take direction to follow safety procedures
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills
-Ability to self-manage, work productively individually or as a team with other colleagues
-Have a positive solution-oriented attitude in a changing environment
-Flexible in schedule to enable the company to meet customer needs – overtime and weekends may be necessary and required
-High school diploma or GED
-Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
-Must pass a background and drug testing
-Have reliable transportation to and from work

Essential Experience:
-2-3 years general commercial construction experience
-Mechanical equipment experience
-Experience working with stainless steel

Pay based on experience.
